Department of Civil EngineeringChing-Lung Fan is an associate professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the Republic of China Military Academy. He obtained his Ph.D. from the National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology in 2019. His primary research interests encompass Machine learning, deep learning, data mining, performance evaluation of construction, and construction risk management. In 2019, Dr. Fan was awarded the Phi Tau Phi Scholastic Honor Society of the Republic of China. Additionally, he received the Outstanding Paper Award at the 25th Symposium on Construction Engineering and Management/International Conference on Big Data, Sensing, and Machine Learning in 2021, as well as the Excellent Paper Award at the Proceedings of the 34th Conference on Military Engineering in 2022. In 2023, he became a member of Sigma Xi.
