It also recognizes the exceptional contributions made by people and organizations that are advancing the area of mental health and psychiatry.
- Best poster presentation: Acknowledging the most impactful and visually engaging poster presentation showcasing research findings, innovative projects, or intervention programs related to mental health.
- Best oral presentation: Awarding excellence in oral presentation delivery, assessing factors such as clarity, organization, communication skills, and engagement with the audience.
- Early career researcher award: Honoring exceptional contributions to mental health research by early career researchers, including graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and junior faculty members.
- Innovation award: Recognizing innovative approaches, technologies, or interventions that demonstrate potential to advance understanding, treatment, or prevention of mental health disorders.
- Student achievement award: Highlighting the achievements of undergraduate or graduate students who have demonstrated excellence in mental health research, leadership, or service.
- Lifetime achievement award: Honoring individuals who have made significant and enduring contributions to the field of mental health throughout their career, inspiring others and advancing the field as a whole.
Selection process:
Review committee: An impartial group of specialists chosen for their knowledge and experience in mental health and psychiatry research, clinical application, and innovation will assess each nomination.
Evaluation criteria: Each award category's criteria, which include the nominee's significant achievements, the impact of their work, and their dedication to excellence in mental health, will be taken into consideration while evaluating nominations.
Notification of selection: Prior to the conference, award winners will receive notification of their selection. The Mental Health 2024 will have a unique awards ceremony where the winners will be recognized.
